Textile Designs
Modern Shibori
A collection of prints inspired by traditional Shibori and tie dye techniques. These designs have been created from a range of hand dye textiles pieces which have then been reworked in photoshop.
Lotus Flower
A transitional print collection inspired by the lotus flower and traditional florals created from a range of hand-drawn paintings.
Chinese Garden
Autumn/Winter print collection inspired by some vintage Chinese textiles passed down within my family, as well as taking influences from the Chinese Garden trend board. This was a range of prints I created for my own home where I translated these designs into bedding, lampshades and cushions. These designs were created through a range of hand paintings with acrylics.
Bamboo Ink
A collection of print designs inspired by traditional ink Japanese drawings (please see my trend board page). The imagery for these prints was largely inspired by a trip to Japan in 2019 visiting the bamboo grove and other national parks.
Paper Collage
A fun bold collection of textile print designs for spring/ summer, inspired by collage and mixed media effects. Creating nature-inspired patterns with simple cut out shapes (please see my trend board page for my inspiration for these designs).
Botanical
A selection of print designs for spring/ summer inspired by botanical/tropical print trends and the blossoming of spring. Mixing in some elements of geometrics to bring in a more unusual look to the designs which were created through hand drawings and scanned in natural materials which were then manipulated using Photoshop.
Children's Prints
A collection a of fun simple print designs taking a modern twist on the rainbow colour pallet, with graphics inspired by simple house drawings. Hand drawn textures have been added in the house silhouettes to create a more playful print.
