Major Project - Dynamic Contrast

Dynamic Contrast is a fashion based research project, inspired by the soft flowing energy and movement of water and lighting within our everyday natural landscapes. The project questions the ideas of future fashion, taking inspiration from the latest trends in 3D printed garment technology.  This project looks at combining both hard and soft materials together, to create unique high end wearable art pieces, which have both a digital and hand made quality to the designs. The project particularly explores perspex as a possible material for fashion, combined and manipulated with digitally printed fabrics to generate a new exciting style of visuals. This is combined with a soft palette of calming blues, generated through drawing and photography. I continuously photographed and re-photographed my design developments to form dynamic new print designs.
